Sometimes patients feel their back a little difficult to bend or move when sitting in one place for a long time. So here are some easy exercises to recover from this back pain and these excercises can be done at home and only take about 5 to 10 minutes to complete.
Try these excercises only if you have minor back pain, if you have major issues then consult your physio therapist.
Hip Flexor Stretch
To do this excercise you need to stand next to a chair. Place one foot back on edge of a different chair. Standing up tall, bring your knees together and squat down until you feel a slight stretching. Hold each one for 10 to 15 seconds, and repeat twice on each side.
Stretching of Hamstring
Using a cloth or a towel, stretch it back until you feel a little pull on the back of your leg. Hold for 15 to 20 seconds, and repeat twice on each side.
Easy Crunches with a Towel
To perform this excercise just wse a regular towel to support your head. Do not pull on your neck. Now lift your shoulders straight up off the mat and lower them back down. Make sure not to pull on your head to complete the crunches.
